Happy Father’s Day to all dads! This year, I tapped Amazon.com for two gifts for my father.

• The Red Green Show – 1999 Season DVD (released February 2008). This is guy comedy at its best. I watched this PBS show with my dad in the 1990s, enjoying the parodies of lodge life and do-it-yourself repair.

• Scott McClellan’s What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington’s Culture of Deception. My dad is not a fan of “W” and he enjoys books that offer insider perspectives.
