Gifts for TV Show Fanatics
My dad and I loved the ’90s Baltimore police drama, Homicide: Life on the Street. For Christmas 1998, I found a black HLOTS baseball cap as one of his presents at Chicago’s NBC Tower gift shop. As he unwrapped the gift, his stunned look turned into a wide smile. My dad said he had looked for this cap on his last visit to Baltimore, but the shops were all sold out.
If your giftee won’t stop talking about a favorite television show, surreptitiously find out if he or she has the previous seasons on DVD. (Amazon is a great DVD source for TV shows.) Or consider another show-related gift from one of these network TV stores.

- Seen On… Television
The last web site, Seen On, has an exclusive T-shirt from another one of my favorite TV shows, House. This tee sports one of Dr. Gregory House’s more cynical sayings: “Everybody Lies.” Proceeds from the shirts go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
