Do you know a fan of Flickr and photography? Maybe you’ve received e-mail from a friend or family member, inviting you to see slide show on Flickr, a popular digital photo sharing web site. While Flickr is free, the complimentary version is restricted to 100 megabytes of photos per month.

Why not give a Pro account to a Flickr user? A pro account grants unlimited storage and bandwidth for one year at a cost of $24.95. And if your giftee already has a pro account (a pro icon appears next to a member’s name on Flickr.com), the pro membership is extended one more year. You can send the gift of Flickr via e-mail to your recipient as a redeemable gift code. Or you could print out what Flickr calls a foldable “Super Sexy Gift Certificate card” and give it in person. Also, if you have a free account, Flickr will give you, the giver, three months of Pro access with your gift purchase. This “three-months-free” offer expires on Jan. 31, 2008.

For more information, see the Gift of Flickr web page.
