Sweetest Day is Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007

Do you celebrate Sweetest Day? The holiday, mostly found here in the U.S. Midwest, is a “mini Valentine’s Day” for couples giving candy, chocolates, flowers and greeting cards. First celebrated in 1922 in Ohio, Sweetest day is the third Saturday in October. (That’s this Saturday, Oct. 20.)
For Sweetest Day, I like to give my sweetest chocolates from:
- Godiva Chocolatier (Did you know Godiva is owned by Campbell Soup?)
- Ghirardelli Chocolate (the real San Francisco treat)
- La Maison du Chocolat (the ultimate in handmade gourmet French chocolate)
