However, when I wrote the entry on July 14, I didn't realize that July 16 was <b>National Get Out of the Doghouse Day.</b> An enterprising South Florida florist created this "holiday" in 2000 as an opportunity for both men and women to mend relationships by sending flowers. But I think the actual words of an apology are more genuine. I’d suggest the same thing, a sincere apology.
